Server IT Monitoring is a personal-use Windows application that checks server health and prepares reports for its owner.
What the application does
Local scripts summarize storage availability, application health, download and import problems, recovery events, and available application updates. Routine monitoring runs locally without AI services.
A Gmail integration is being configured to send HTML reports and important alerts to the owner's designated email address. It uses Google's Gmail API with OAuth and requests only gmail.send, which permits sending messages.
Access is limited to sending
The application does not request permission to read the Gmail inbox, modify existing messages, or delete email. Google handles sign-in and consent. The application does not collect the owner's Gmail password.
